Top 25 WATERFALLS IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS
I am proud to present what I believe to be the top 25 waterfalls in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire & Maine! This list was created after having personally visited over 150 waterfalls in the White Mountains as the various editions of the New England Waterfalls guidebook were written. A few of these waterfalls are a bit outside of the boundaries of the White Mountain National Forest, but they are close enough (and impressive enough) that I felt their inclusion was necessary.
Take note that this list does not include off-trail waterfalls that require a bushwhack. There are several that would perhaps be worthy of inclusion here, but are far too dangerous for the average person to attempt to visit (Davis Brook Falls in New Hampshire comes to mind).
